Ron Onderdijk has been bringing the rumble since the very beginning, back in the early days at Noldijk and Heerjansdam. From there to Barendrecht, first on the second floor, then for VBT from the attic between the archive shelves, and now here in Dordrecht.
For the past years, he’s been bringing the same unconditional energy and experience to Tunderman. An original. A force – 35 years in and still bringing the thunder.

And while the road ahead is bright, Arno has a bigger dream in mind: one day, he hopes to pass the torch and see the Tunderman name continue to thunder on.
FEBRUARY 26, 2025 – FLEET
Our fleet has been strengthened with 10 brand-new Krone Euroliner XL trailers, equipped with safe curtains for faster and safer loading.
With this addition, we now operate 70 Krone trailers within our total fleet of around 100. As our trusted supplier, Krone plays a key role in our transport operations between the Benelux, Germany, and the UK.
JANUARY 16, 2025 – TEAM MILESTONE
Today we celebrate 12,5 years of Heleen Bakker. Her journey began when she responded to a local job posting at Tunderman Transport in the Europoort. What followed was a career defined by movement, both literally and figuratively. Several relocations, a short break elsewhere, and ultimately her return 12.5 years ago. Still standing strong today, keeping us all in line and showing no signs of running of just yet. Here’s to many years of putting up with us.
